On May 10th, Kaiping, renowned as the "Hometown of Overseas Chinese", was bustling with guests from all directions, showcasing a plethora of industrial projects. The grand opening ceremony of the 2018 Kaiping Investment and Talent Introduction Conference, along with the groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremonies for major projects, was held on a grand scale. Themed "Happiness is achieved through hard work", the conference was attended by leaders such as Cai Dewei, Vice Mayor of Jiangmen City, Pang Zhenghua, Secretary of the Kaiping Municipal Party Committee, and Kuang Jikang, Mayor of Kaiping City. The conference attracted nearly 300 guests, including representatives from well-known private enterprises, leading industry enterprises, and listed companies. Five projects were laid the foundation and ribbon-cut, and 70 projects were signed, with a total investment of 39.1 billion yuan. As one of the five major signed projects, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Renda Group project was held in Cuishan Lake Science and Technology Park, Kaiping City.

In order to facilitate the signing of this project, in early April, Cai Dewei, the Deputy Mayor of Jiangmen City, led a team consisting of relevant personnel from the Kaiping Cuishan Lake Science and Technology Park, the Jiangmen Municipal Government Office, and the Jiangmen Municipal Bureau of Commerce to conduct a field inspection of the Shenzhen production base of Renda Group. They gained a detailed understanding of the group's production and operation status as well as its future development plans, and engaged in in-depth discussions with the group's senior management, striving to accelerate the process of the project's establishment.
